We have had quite a number of people who have restarted the Ideal Health NOW plan prior to the Christmas and New Year. They did not want to be up 10 Lbs and get past Christmas and increase more lbs.

Restarts – What to Expect
Based on our successes at Ideal Health NOW – we will ask you to do several simple things to restart.
# 1 If it has been a year since you 1st started with our clinic – we need you to go online and update your chart information by filling out a new Health Profile. Go to – idealhealthnow.com – click “ how to start” find “Health Profile and submit from your computer only – no smart phones or tablets.
# 2 Schedule a morning appointment for a Wellness Screening & Coaching appt. – were we will ask you fast overnight, stick your finger and draw 4 drops of blood to gather data of your beginning Cholesterol, Triglycerides, HDL, LDL, Glucose , and Ratios of HDL & LDL from our Cholestech Machine (just like Heart Hospital)
#3 During your appointment ( 1st appt only is 25 – 30 min) :
- Plan to watch Dr. Chandler’s video ( 15 min ) to educate you about the medical science behind the diet.
- Meet with a coach about the impact food has on the body and how to identify the food combinations that promote fat storage
- Weigh and Measure
- Go over Phase 1 and compliance with eating your Protein foods, vegetables and supplements.
- Mandatory weekly appointments – * the key to prevention of regaining weight is education, belief of the scientific results, and follow-up.
Dr. Chandler and I believe one of the most important things that we can do to promote long-term weight maintenance is to create an environment in the clinic where a patient feels comfortable coming, not only when they are doing well, but also when they are struggling. We do not want continual NON-compliance; but by creating an environment where patients feel safe to share their struggles, we can often intervene early-on before the patient regains a significant amount of weight.
When our coaches initially see a patient who regained some weight, they congratulate them for having the courage to come in to see us. Our main focus of the visit is to begin to get an understanding of what worked – what did NOT work – and where are they in the process.
The patient usually tells us upon graduation or stopping the plan they continued some of the great habits they learned…. THEN slowly they became less attentive and it became simpler to grab foods full of Carbs and FATS like fried foods, decadent desserts, alcohol, and sugary soft drinks will lead to weight gain and inflammation that led to weight gain, Acid Reflux, and Joint pain.
