Observation # 1 –
When I am offered a dessert or a soft drink or something NOT on Ideal plan at a function or event and…. if I say …’ I CAN”T have that .…” People push back and say, “Why not?”
And after I explain that I am following a certain diet protocol …. the people then feel the need to inform me that it is okay for me to have JUST 1 because …just 1 won’t hurt; or another rebellious statement is ” that is way too restrictive – that can’t be healthy.”
Observation # 2 –
When the same woman went to several functions or events and changed her words to say …” I DON’T eat that or NO THANK YOU . ” The people (even some of the same people) accepted that statement and said , ” okay ” and moved on.
Have you noticed that people actually rebel against you being on a serious diet plan?
I challenge you to test those 2 statements while at your next event and watch the reaction between those that rebel or the accept your choice of following a diet protocol from the people around you AND let us know your observations and thoughts.
